Hi friends! You don't always have money to demo and redo something in your home - so I'm going to tell you 3 of my favorite ways to give your home an updated look without breaking the bank! All it takes is time and minimal expense.
1. Swap your outlets/switches and covers. This seems like a small thing but can go a real long way in updating the look of your home. I recently swapped out my light switches and it seems like a small thing but it makes a big difference!
2. Paint your trim!! Granted - this one takes a lot of time but it really makes a huge huge difference. I'm slowly working my way through painting our baseboards, door, and window trim. It is amazing how much it brightens a space! If you have old, dated, dusty boards give them a good cleaning and then prime and paint them with trim paint!
3. Paint your doors - and/or swap the door handles and hinges. If you're handles and hinges are dirty and old, swapping these can make a big difference!
